Designed for broad application parameters; this adhesive will provide strong bonds when utilizing most substrates and inks.

AM164-001 : Wet and Dry Nip Laminating Adhesive

AM164-001 represents a significant advancement in industrial lamination technology. This versatile adhesive initially performs similar to a pressure sensitive adhesive but builds strong chemical bonds quickly once laminated. It is compatible with both wet and dry nip processes and can be activated using traditional UV lamps or LEDs with output from 365 to 405 nm. When utilizing this product as a wet nip adhesive, it bonds virtually any combination of substrates to a destructive state over a period of 6-10 hours. Initial bonds will be very strong to destructive depending on the construction. For wet nip applications, the initial tacky state allows it to act like a pressure-sensitive adhesive; once laminated, it transitions to build strong chemical bonds for durable lamination. AM164-001 is highly effective for a variety of applications, from graphic arts and packaging to more demanding industrial uses such as laminating decorative films in furniture or flooring composites.
